Since 1976 Laurence Crooks has restored and refurbished traditional and modern yachts. A world-sailor with many ocean miles under his keel, he knows what to expect from a sea-going vessel exposed to the elements of nature. With a keen artistic background, an eye of distinction for a well balanced design and a knowledge of traditional and modern building techniques which were acquired from the maritime background of the Great Lakes of Canada, the East Coast of the US to the Southern shores of the Florida Keys and the US Virgin Islands. He has the knowledge to be able to source those dedicated craftsman necessary to do the job and find the materials and hardware to match the project. A US COASTGUARD certified 100 TON captain with an impeccable sailing record.
